This is a 3-week package that includes all the highlights of South Africa rolled into one trip.

These are the elements that first time visitors to South Africa generally want to see:

Kruger Park Safari, Kwazulu Natal coast, Drakensberg Mountains, the Garden Route and Cape Town.

 

Kruger National Park

This is South Africa’s largest and best known game reserve.

If this is your first trip to Africa, you will no doubt want to see all of the iconic African species. Kruger park is home to them all: Elephants, Lions, zebras, giraffe etc.

 

KwaZulu Natal Coast

KwaZulu Natal is our favourite province (that’s why we live here!). It boasts beautiful beaches along a huge stretch of marine and coastal reserve where you can do scuba diving, snorkelling, fishing, whale watching and turtle tours. Inland you have the best place to see Rhinos in Hluhluwe iMfolozi Park, Zulu culture and historic battlefields. Combine this with stunning year round weather, and you will see why this is a must-visit destination.

 

Drakensberg Mountains

Rising majestically as you move inland from the city of Durban are the Drakensberg Mountains. This rugged mountain range is a protected area, home to many species of wildlife and birds (Eland and the Bearded Vulture are noteworthy), and a hikers’ paradise. It is also home to many sites of ancient rock art.

 

The Garden Route

Stretching from Port Elizabeth all the way to Cape Town, the coastal road along the Eastern Cape is dotted with seaside towns and beautiful scenery. We love Knysna, a harbour town with an endemic endangered seahorse, and Wilderness with it’s quirky cafe’s and shops.

 

Cape Town and surrounds

Cape Town is a modern city with a great vibe, dominated by the striking Table Mountain. With day trips to Cape point, Robben Island, seal and penguin colonies, and vinyard tours into the winelands, there is plenty to keep you busy here.
